Moli-Player - free movie & music player for network download video media for iPhone/iPod App Reviews

After upgrading to iOS 8, finding an app that will stream videos from a wifi home network sounded easy, but it really wasnt. My previous players VLC and Player Xtreme gave me a zillion bugs. I took a chance, unlocked this whole app for $2.99 and think that it is money well spent. No fussing around with iTunes or ftp crap. Stream while at home, or download directly to my phone for on the go! Thank you for ending my frustrations Moli!

This app was bought at $2.99 with all the in-app unlocks. User interface is friendly, controls are easy to learn, screen resolution and aspect ratio sync in well (compared to VLC). The only con Id state would be pertaining to the updates, after paying 200 INR the Chinese developer does not let out timely fixes to stability and functionality crippling issues, which is a major draw back compared to other video players on the App Store. Had other players in the past, but this one is by far the best.

This app allows playing of formats not natively supported by Apple, with the exception of Flash, of course.

An otherwise almost perfect NMP but it doesnt decode AC3 & DTS. Meanwhile you get no audio and a message apologizing saying theyre working on securing licensing. When is that you ask? Who knows.

This is the best media player in the market. It can play all kinds of video format both locally and on the network.

Simple UI, great functionality and the best.. It works. Still had some issues with some AC3-coded videos but not enough to dissapoint. Perhaps future updates will address this issue.

Plays movies and tv shows with a great picture and clarity. Nice features and extras too boot.

I love this app for its lightning speed when opening HD movies files from my NAS drive. The only problem is that AC3 audio is still muted in some files.

I thought this app waz supposed to be for music and movies. all it let me do is let the app access my photos but it was only showing a few. this app is lucky I gave it 2 stars. All I waz doing waz looking for an app that I could listen to free music on but all the ones that work r for the iOS 7 or later. And to think I thought this would be my chance but Im going to try to look more into this app hopefully there will be SOME good out if this app and just MABEY I will keep this app. Also it so complicated and takes a lot of work to transfer stuff from ur computer to ur iPod or phone. I just hate that.

Streams right off my laptop or NAS without any hiccups! Exactly what I needed.

Its the only free video player Ive found with a repeat function. Shocking that such a basic feature is absent from so many other players.

Works with my DLNA servers and renderers (miniDLNA and Pioneer vx-60) good software.
